TSar Fedorsky receives MCC Fellowship for The Light Under the Door

Congratulations to Tsar Fedorsky (Class of 2014)! She has been awarded a 2015 Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship for her photobook The Light Under the Door . With this award Tsar becomes 1 of 19 artists to receive a $10,000 fellowship.

Dreams of Dogs, May 1st at Kominek Gallery

The International Limited-Residency MFA in Photography program at the Hartford Art School - University of Hartford, in collaboration with Berlin’s Kominek Gallery will host The Dreams of Dogs, an exhibition opening this May Day. The exhibition was edited by Jörg Colberg and features work by first year students in the program.

Recent Edition of OjodePez guest edited by Joerg Colberg, HAS MFA Faculty/Advisor

The recent edition of OjodePez, a magazine roughly focusing on documentary/reportage photography, was guest-edited by Jörg Colberg. It focuses on how photographs from a large variety of background sources can be used to ultimately arrive at a form of truth, thus breaking some of the regular conventions of documentary/reportage photography.
