Annual Call for Applications - Deadline is January 14, 2018

The priority deadline for application is January 14, 2018. Applications will be considered until the class is full, after that date applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the cohort is filled. In February, shortlisted applicants will be notified. Shortlisted applicants will either visit campus in Hartford, CT or speak with the admissions committee via Skype during the dates February 16-17, 2018. In early March, all applicants will be notified of Acceptance Decisions.

Congratulations to both Tim Carpenter (MFA '12) and Bryan Schutmaat (MFA '12) whose photobooks have both been included in the current exhibition running in conjunction with the Stephen Shore retrospective at MOMA. On display now through March 18, 2018

Hartford Book Release Party & Panel Discussion: Farewell Photobook

The event is to take place on September 30, 2017 at the Con Artist Collective (119 Ludlow St, New York, NY 10002). Doors open at 5pm, beginning at 5:30 PM all participating artists will engage in a lively panel discussion about the book making process moderated by Michael Vahrenwald, faculty/advisor HAS MFA. A book signing of recently published works will follow the discussion from 7-9PM.
